“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” Philippians 1:3
Like Paul, I’m thankful for what
God has done in me, my family, my friends, and the church families He has allowed
us to share our lives with in ministry. When I speak of them, hear them spoken
of, or remember their faithfulness, kindness, and encouragement, I’m grateful
our lives intersected. God is faithful; He will continue doing the work He
started in each of us until the day of Jesus Christ—on that day, God completes
His work through the appearance of His Son (v. 6).
Whatever kingdom work God sets
before us, we should do wholeheartedly as unto the Lord (Col 3:16) until He
comes for us. When we exit our places of worship, we should be God’s Church,
ambassadors of our Lord, ministering to a world desperately needing Jesus. If
you want a blessing, be a blessing.
